Data as of September 13, 2026 · refreshed weekly
What decks cost
The median deck costs $429.
Half of these decks cost more than $429. 23% cost over $1,000 and 3% come in under $50.
These decks were built, tuned and run through a rating engine before they were uploaded, so the sample leans toward optimized lists rather than kitchen-table ones.
Price by power level
A power 8 deck costs about 10× what a power 4 deck costs.
A power 8 deck runs a median $2,042. A power 4 deck runs $205, so power 8 costs about 10 times as much.
The thinnest power bands, each under five thousand decks, are left off so a handful of decks do not distort the medians.
Power and brackets
Power 4 is the single most common rating, at 16.1% of decks.
Power ratings come from the rating engine in half-point steps on the 1 to 10 commander power level scale, EDH power level if you prefer. The histogram shows the deck count in each step as measured, unsmoothed.

Median power and price for each WotC bracket, from casual at bracket 1 up to cEDH at bracket 5.

Most played commanders
7,242 decks run Y'shtola, Night's Blessed, the most-played commander here.
The order leans recent. The most-run commander here is Y'shtola, Night's Blessed, ahead of Edgar Markov and The Ur-Dragon. Recent scraping weights recent decks, so this leans toward what has been added lately rather than an all-time count.
