How the prices are calculated
Every name you paste is checked against our card database on the server. Names that cannot be resolved are listed back to you instead of being guessed at. Each card is then priced at its cheapest regular printing, in USD and EUR separately. Gold-bordered and oversized collector printings only count when no regular printing carries a price, and tokens are never priced. The price data updates daily.
Cards that resolve but carry no price are excluded from the total and named below it, so the figure you see is never padded with guesses. Each row carries a 90-day sparkline and its 30-day move, and the chart above the table draws a year of history for the whole list. Lists are capped at 200 cards.
What a Commander deck costs
Across the 737,905 legal Commander decks we index, the median deck costs $429. Price climbs steeply with power. The median power 4 deck sits at $205, the median power 8 deck at $2,042.

List formats that work
The paste box accepts the shapes most deckbuilding apps export, and you can mix them in one list.

Sharing a priced list
The share button creates a permanent link that stores only card names and counts. Prices are fetched fresh every time the link is opened, so a shared list always shows today's prices rather than the prices from the day it was shared. The list itself cannot be edited afterwards, which makes the link safe to drop in a trade thread or a group chat.
